Biography of Annemarie Eilfeld
My biography

Annemarie or „Anmie“, as my friends call me, was born on May 2 in 1990 at Lutherstadt Wittenberg as only daughter to my parents Heike Eilfeld, a teacher, and Mario Eilfeld, an estate agent.
At the age of 6, I performed on stage for the first time. Since then, I did a lot to push my career. At age 8, I started having singing lessons and was learning to play keyboard. Furthermore I finished my dance education successfully and won quite a few trophies in singing competitions.

My first steps in the show business occured when I was 13. I took part in Germany's talent show for kids, "Star search 2", where I secured a place in the final round. Later that year, I released my debut single "C the light" under the label of edel music which is nowadays a collectible among my fans.
Since then, I gained a lot of experience on stage. At the age of 15 I was touring for one year with Berlin's cover band "Six" and appeared at the interlude of Austria's pop star Christina Stürmer and the famous band "Bloodhound gang". In 2008, I founded my own band "LaMie" together with my friend and guitarist Lars Rettkowitz (born in 1979). In the same year I appeared in the German TV show "Hit Giganten - the 30 biggest hits of the 80s" together with former Bee Gees' member Robin Gibb.

To have a serious professional background, I started industrial training which I then had to cancel due to my participation in Germany's most successful talent show "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" . I ended up in 3rd place. On my way I had to face hostility from the other participants and the jury members but I never gave up fighting.

After that I received and accepted many invitations to all kinds of events including the box fight Hoffmann-Botha in Magdeburg, the OK! Style Award and performing interviews with other stars on Germany's "The Dome 50" in Munich. My first live act after I became popular throughout Germany was attended by over 8,000 spectators on the "Sachsen-Anhalt-Tag" held in Thale on June 13.
Among many events, I have also enjoyed a spell of 6 weeks in Germany`s most popular soap opera "Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten" and have been printed in the famous German fashion catalogue "OTTO".
These last few months, I have been working extremely hard on my new album, after having agreed a deal with record label "x-cell records" and received a management contract with popular producer George Glueck. The album will most likely come out in early spring.
